Often, we will run tattoo gift certificate specials where you can purchase gift certificates for much less than face value.
These sales generally only last a day or two when they are going on and sometimes, we only offer a limited number. If you want to know about these flash gift certificate sales, go to our facebook page (find us here) and add our page to your favorites. That is easily done by clicking on the “gear icon” next to the like button under the timeline cover image. This will help make sure you see our posts in your newsfeed and become aware of the sale before time runs out.
Gift Certificates Assigned to Artists, Not to The Shop
Gift certificates are offered through each individual artist. None of our gift certificates are or ever will be able to be used universally for tattoos by all tattoo artists or on random artwork displayed at The Shop.
Make sure you buy your gift certificate from the artist you want to see. Take a look at all the portfolios and even come on in and chat with our artists before purchasing a gift certificate if you are not already familiar with that artist’s work.
Simply put, if you buy a gift certificate, you are buying it from the artist, not from The Shop. The face of the gift certificate may have The Shop’s logo on it, but it will specify which artist the gift certificate is valid with on the front. We do this because tattoo artists are not employees, but rather Independent Contractors.
Print Verses Email Tattoo Gift Certificates
You may have noticed that we have pre-printed gift certificates available at The Shop for all artists. You can also buy e-gift certificates online for tattoos by Darl, which has benefited many last-minute shoppers.
Both types of gift certificates are completely valid. All gift certificates are assigned a serial number to prove that validity.
